A Message from the Principal
- A continuation of S.T.E.A.M. integration across the curriculum, with the long term goal of identifying Satchel Ford as a S.T.E.M. Accredited School.
- Mathematics will continue to focus on inquiry based models, while also focusing on the Richland 1 “Big 3” Math areas of Number Sense, Daily Problem Solving, and Use of Manipulatives.
- The Reading and Writing workshop model will serve as our continued focus, while also focusing on the Richland 1 “Big 3” ELA areas of Word Study, Interactive Read-Aloud, and Guided Reading.
We welcome all parents, guardian, and visitors to our school. We just ask that you bring your ID and sign in through the office. This is to ensure our student’s safety and school security.
Thank you all for continuing to make our school and community the amazing place that it is! This is going to be a great year!
Sincerely,
Dr. Matthew D. Scandrol
Principal
